Job Description

As a Sales Manager based in Iberia, you will be pivotal in executing our sales strategy, developing strong relationships with both existing and new customers, and significantly contributing to our growth in the Iberian market. Reporting to the Country Manager of Iberia, this role offers the chance to drive BORG’s market presence through proactive customer engagement and strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement sales plans and targets under the direction of the Country Manager.
  • Actively engage in cross-selling, gap analysis, and lost-sales recovery with current customers.
  • Forge strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular visits (constituting 80% of your time), customer events, factory visits, and product training.
  • Remain highly attuned to market trends and developments within the Iberian aftermarket, leveraging this insight to optimize our market strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, Commercial Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, preferably in the IAM automotive or spare parts sector. Experience in remanufacturing is advantageous.
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • An individual who embodies our values, with a strong customer orientation, team spirit, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

This role requires extensive travel, primarily within Spain and Portugal, comprising about 80% of your work schedule. We support work-life balance with options for teleworking one full day or two half-days per week. It is ideal if the candidate is located in Madrid.
