The Technician will work as part of the operations team being accountable for disassembling, cleaning and reassembling product. Diagnosing & repairing any issues found and support the business with staff / customer technical training.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassembling, cleaning and reassembling product
- Assessment, Diagnosis & repair of products
- Report all results & findings.
- Collate Reliability & Maintainability
- Liaise with the engineering department conducting repeatability / validation testing & reporting for new & existing products.
- Contribute and drive continuous improvement initiatives within department
- Deliver materials/equipment/items to shopfloor/work areas as required
- Ensure the health and safety guidelines are always followed
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications
- Daily operational tasks to meet set KPIs
Requirements
- Diesel product knowledge preferable but not essential
- Automotive industry experience preferable but not essential
- Able to work with hand and power tools
- Perform general and detailed repair of diesel injectors and pumps
- A good work ethic
- Good communication skills, good level of English
- Solve problems encountered during the process.
- Pro-active, able to work using their own initiative

This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
