Wolf Oil Corporation is a Belgium based an independent lubricants company. We specialize in bringing our customers tailored, technology-enhanced lubricants that make engines better, faster, greener and cleaner.
As a Cataloguing Data Specialist, you will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and optimizing product cataloguing data for our own brands (Wolf, Champion) and private labels. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of product data across various internal and external systems, directly contributing to the value we offer our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities
- Maintain and update product and cataloguing data across multiple databases and external platforms (LIS, PIM, ADMIN, TecDoc, X-checker, etc.).
- Analyze data across different systems to identify discrepancies and ensure consistency, primarily using Excel.
- Optimize cataloguing processes and streamline data flows from our internal systems to various other systems, such as websites, platforms, and customer portals, …
- Support regular data update processes, ensuring timely execution.
- Ensure top-quality cataloguing product data, making it adaptable to customer needs and automotive industry standards.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to support both the Product and Marketing teams.
- Develop and implement data management procedures to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with database administrators and internal stakeholders to maintain and improve data integrity.
- Provide backup support for product data specialists and contribute to product cataloguing-related projects.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Data Management, preferably in the Automotive or Chemical sector.
- Skills:
- Advanced Excel (e.g., pivots, vlookup, data comparison).
- Basic Access DB knowledge (loading tables, basic queries).
- Familiarity with cataloguing systems (PIM, TecDoc, X-checker) is a plus.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Eager to learn, strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a structured approach to tasks.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Innovative thinker with solid organizational and multitasking skills.
