TALENTS4AA IN ITS SECOND AUTOMECHANIKA FRANKFURT!

Automechanika Frankfurt, recognized as one of the largest trade fairs in the automotive aftermarket, took place from September 10th to 14th, 2024. This year we participated at Automechanika Frankfurt 2024 for the second time, and had a strong presence in two key areas: Hall 4.1 FOY05 and the Ambition Area in Hall 3.1.

Hall 4.1 FOY05

In Hall 4.1 FOY05, we focused on increasing our visibility as a non-profit association to provide a clear picture of our goals, vision & initiatives in the automotive aftermarket. At Talents4AA, we are shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Through various initiatives, we connect skilled professionals with leading companies, fostering relationships that support the industry’s growth.

Our new job portal, JobsAutomotive.com, is a unique platform specific for the automotive aftermarket industry. It not only offers job listings but also provides valuable information about the sector, making it an essential resource for both job seekers and employers. The positive feedback we received about JobsAutomotive.com highlights its potential for building partnerships and generating interest among visitors.

Key Highlights

Networking Breakfast

On Thursday the 12th, we hosted an Industry Breakfast at our booth, bringing together all our member companies, as well as potential new partners. The event provided a great opportunity for everyone to connect in person and build valuable business relationships. Our steering committee including Fotios K., Christina J., Stephane F., and Gael E., delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of young talent in the automotive aftermarket, while also sharing the association’s vision and key milestones for the future.

Panel Discussion

At the NAAG Conference, Stephane F., our general secretary, represented us in a panel discussion on “Cross-generational Insights in the Automotive Aftermarket”. The discussion featured experts from Schaeffler, NEXUS Automotive International, OSRAM, and PHINIA. The panel offered valuable insights into future challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Hall 3.1 Ambition

In Hall 3.1, we connected with a younger audience, including students and emerging talents, by showcasing the beta version of our platform, JobsAutomotive.com, and highlighting opportunities in the automotive aftermarket. Situated in the recruitment zone of the Ambition area, we received strong support from HR representatives from our member companies, who helped promote the platform. Many young aspirants attended and were eager to learn more about the industry and our initiatives. To enhance engagement, we distributed goodies at our booth, which were well-received and left a lasting impression on the audience.
